The Easter Quilt and Patchwork Show and Challenge in Macksville, run by the Verandah Post
Patchworkers, showcases contemporary and traditional patchwork, quilting and other textile items.
The event is one of the largest and best displays in regional NSW and features travelling exhibitions;

Nambucca Valley Show and Trade Fair - Macksville is held two weeks after Easter. The best of the country is on display at the annual Macksville Show. A fun-filled family day featuring ring events, beef and dairy cattle, dogs, poultry, caged birds, pavilion displays, fireworks, sideshow alley and an array of trade exhibits. Ken Howard Memorial Bowling Carnival - Nambucca Heads - early June. Nambucca Heads Bowling Club hosts a week-long annual event for lawn bowlers - young and old, men and women.
